$27. I try to alway spend cash ...always breaking a dollar. I never spend the change. I save it , placing it in a jar when I walk in the door everyday. When it fills I convert it at the 'CoinStar' machine, place that amout into the bank, then go on 'Sharebuilder' and purchase stocks for my children. Each time the jar fills it is for a different daughter. It may take several months, but the jar usually averages $400. And the stock of choice for my daughtes right now is Pepsi.

Not much. On a typical day I start with about $9 dollars on me in currency, and $1.00 in loose change. I only keep enough on me to buy gas and maybe lunch or errand money.
I do however, keep a couple gift cards in my wallet. I bought them myself and reload them just because I'm in those stores a lot and it's easier than carrying cash. I always keep a post-it note attached to each one with the current balance of each card, on it. One is a Target card. The other is for my local supermarket.

it varies but I usually have a few bucks in my pocket and a 50 dollar bill stashed in my wallet for emergency. I use my debit card every place that accepts it. I would gladly use it to treat you to dinner and a movie if you would allow me. ??
