Very devout homeless man, quiet, friendly, liked by the town. Befriends Wiesel and they discuss religion. He is deported to a camp but is able escape and return in order to warn the town of the horrors approaching them. No one can believe it. They think he'd mad and they ignore him. After a long time, Moshe gives up and just mopes around. Then everyone is deported.
