I have had some answered in a couple days and some took a couple weeks. Some I won and some I lost. Even got one answer that said they do not give the reason or results of violation reports. Must depend on who is handling it. I have learned that it is easier and less of a problem to just report a violation than to give an answer that gets you a violation. One problem here is that people lower themselves to answer questions that are violations to start with.

Time to take an A1 abrahams tank over to Yahoo HQ and use the torrent to "knock" on the front door. I have found it is easier to get a response when your holding a flame thrower

You got reported, and apparently, she didn't.
If YA chooses to respond, that may happen in a week or two. I have disputed a couple, and they sent me an ambigous "definition" of their rules. .. For a couple others, YA did not answer me at all...In no case, did they retract the violation and give me my points back.
Of course, mine all happened before the later policy changes in YA's continuing workover. It may be different, nowadays.

I've disputed several, and have received points back. Each time, it was less than 1 day. Anything past that, i would say forget waiting, you lost the dispute.

Two or three days, but they won't change a thing. Just forget it and move on. I have received several responces, but they tell you if you want to persue it, you need to go to a website, and complain again. It's not worth the effort.

don't worry about it .i know it infuriating but so is this whole Q&A thing. There is a lot of unfairness and i nearly gave up once but someone told me to ignore the other stupid people and if you enjoy Q&A then just continue

How long before you get a response? Oooh, only forever. YA can be very cruel and unfair. Sometimes I wonder why we still love it. But only sometimes.

You won't hear back from Yahoo Answers at all. You can dispute but doesn't mean they will respond
