The nuts add a level of flavor to the brownies. That's why some people do that.

Why did you post your question in philosophy?
And some people like nuts and some don't...it's a matter of taste. If you think the chocolate is messed up, some people think the nuts are messed up with chocolate!

Thank you for addressing this, I don't know, but I would like to find whoever is putting these nuts in everything and tell them to stop. Nuts belong in trail mix, not chocolate or bread.

i know it's the same thing with jello...cept with jello it's fruit. :]
hey you wouldn't happen to be allegeric would you?
(that would totally suck to see fudge/brownies but not be able to have any... cause somebody added nuts.)

For me it is the texture, I don't like squishy feelings in my mouth, so I add nuts:) LOL!
