Get price tags on everything and advertise in the local paper that you are holding an "estate sale". People will be there at 6:00 am and will strip you naked!

I once attended an "open house" estate sale, and even the house itself was for sale, including everything in it, right down to the clothing in the closets. It was an upscale garage sale atmosphere, with light refreshments (punch and cookies) served. It was advertised as an "Open House Sale. Everything Must Go!"

You could list everything on craigslist.com or tag everything and only let a few people in at a time into your house (theft) or have a person in every room to keep watch. You could also call a company that does estate sales and pay them a fee to do it for you.

I have heard great things about Frontier Sales Furniture in Toronto they buy and sell household contents. They are at 3198 Danforth Ave and I think they have a new store across the street.

You can have a garage sale, basement sale or just say you are having a moving sale. Put prices on everything, advertise and the buyers will flock to your door.

Yes an estate sale, may do the trick.
Another Idea I didn't see mentioned would be to have a sidewalk sale.

Call it an "estate sale," as long as you are comfortable with people walking around your house.

Or post the stuff on craigslist.
