The school district we just moved into says they use corporal punishment on all students, and parents do not have a right to choose if its used on thier child or not. Could this be true?? I can't and don't believe it is ...

Corporal punishment is allowed in Texas. Each Texas school district sets in own policy on corporal punishment. Although rare in large districts, there are smaller districts that still practice it.

Call the State Board of Education. They approve or disapprove of all punishment allowed in the schools. Where I live, it is the parents choice. If you do not permit it though, the student is expelled for violating the schools policies. Anywhere from 1 day to complete expulsion.

they paddled me at least a 100 times in school,it made ya think before getting in trouble...thats the thing nowadays ,people dont wont their kid spanked,and then wonder why they grow up to be little pychos...........
