Doubt it... unless you are moving between Schalken agreement countries you will need a passport...

Britain retains its passport controls, since being an island makes our borders easy to police. In mainlaind Europe countries have long land borders, so it is harder to stop people entering anywhere they like.

You may travel, however, between the UK and Ireland with no passport (immigration do not require you to have one, but airlines may demand it for security reasons) so you can use a passenger ferry with no ID at all, though it makes life easier if you at least have a photo driving licence.

From there it is simple! Get the ferry to Cherbourg and just follow the signs up to Calais and stay on the E40 toward Brussels, and then take the road to Antwerp, through the Kennedy tunnel to the Breda road, and follow the sign to Amsterdam!

To travel between the UK and mainland Europe you need a passport.
I have traveled it many times and was always asked to show a passport or equivalent. (An ID card will do.)
A driving license will not be enough.

I think you can get a passport in almost all countries in one day, you will have to go to the main passport office, and pay a lot extra.
Phone your passport office and ask!
