While my wife was not the reason for my success (I was, at least in my own opinion, successful before I knew her), she makes my life so much better that she she is now an integral part of my success both in business and in life.

It's clear you don't know my ex-wife. I am professionally successful despite her.
But you are also correct in some ways. I am in the process of buying a beach house at the beach I have been going to for years. I have rented for years and now my girlfriend is helping me buy a really nice house there (not financial help, moral support and doing a lot of the leg work for me). I keep telling her that I couldn't have done it without her (I can afford it, it's just all the crap in the process). So there is some truth to what you say.
But the same is true for her, she relocated (to the beach) to be nearer to me (no sane person would live where I am forced to work). She keeps telling me that she could not have done it without me. She more than supports herself, but I helped her get established. So it goes both ways, the moral support we provide for each other makes both of us better.

Yeah, there sure the hell was a woman behind my success. Not too long after she ran off with a cross-country truck driver, good things popped up in my life.
I owe her and that truck driver a big debt.

No there's no woman behind my success, but I haven't been having much success so maybe this is the problem, thanks for pointing this out...

My wife has been a source of inspiration and encouragement. The has always believed in me and helped me to push for more and get everything I want. But she is beside me not behind me.

In my case, failure has been precipitated by the woman who insists on cutting me off at the knees every time I attempt something important, or even new and different.
