Feminist in this example would be the dictionary definition, someone who believes in equality between the sexes.

This study is really saying that feminists essentially give their sex lives a high score, whereas non-feminists give their sex lives a lower score. Rio's point that this same group shows feminists also grade their own beauty at a lower level than non-feminists is interesting as well.
Could it be a difference in value placed on these qualities? Feminists are more interested in their sex lives than their outward appearance versus non-feminists?
I find it interesting anyway.

I saw this article. I wasn't surprised. I think Feminists are probably more bold than most women and too more sexually liberated. I think this would make them have no reservations about vocalizing how they want to be pleasured sexually.
I called myself a feminist for a while...but I later lost interest. However, I'm all for equality--in EVERY aspect of my life. Since feminists are so dang fired up about equality as well, they're probably just as demanding as men are and just as thorough in getting their partners to bend to their will. They've figured out the psychology that men use against us women and turned the tables.
Just my opinion...

I suppose we all enjoy sex with women, including feminists. Just kidding.
It more than likely does not have to do with feminism and the study is generalizing all women who enjoy sex as feminists. Perhaps also the survey is asking some women who are confused about what feminism really is and unintentionally identify themselves as feminists when they are not.
Feminism is not about equality. Equalism is about equality. Feminism looks soley to promote women's issues and ignores men's issues. Women may be confused in that feminist groups have worked hard to portray themselves as for equality and so by default women think this is so.
The survey would be more accurate if instead of using the word feminist they used equalist.
Equalists probably have better sex because they can enjoy the differences in their partner. The study is yet another example of media manipulating words in order to promote the feminist illusion of how they are much better and women should identify themselves as a feminist so that they can continue to make money and oppress men and children.

Meriam Webster defines feminism as:
1 : the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes
2 : organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests
Today the word more reflects number two because if they truly did want equality feminist organizations would support some of the men’s issues, such as shared parenting by law. Instead they try to block it every time it gets on the ballot.. Equalism would be more like number one.

What does "equality in bed" mean exactly? Do we keep scores of who is in charge and make sure we even out the power structure? LOL I would rather watch C-SPAN than participate in one of those equality sessions.
I don't think ideology has anything to do with enjoying sex. You enjoy sex more when you own your sexuality, know yourself, your mind and body. You can be a feminist, confused, bitter and insecure about your body or you can be an anti-feminist and comfortable with yourself---nothing to do with feminism.

I know I've enjoyed sex the older I get, and enjoy having more sex the older I get. I have no idea if it has anything to do with being a feminist, but I'm sure not complaining, I'm loving it!

Why do radical feminists believe this particular study when they reject (with the word "Ugh!") every study reported by the mainstream media showing real biological differences between the sexes? There are numerous such studies, but the radical feminists' knee jerk reaction is to say they are invalid, and they proceed to make up whatever reason pops into their head to justify their emotional reaction.
The fact is, radical feminism is as anti-intellectual as creationism. Or perhaps they are just intellectually dishonest as they pick and choose the studies they want to tout and the ones they want to ignore.

Feminists are less passive in bed and more open to variety. They are more likely to think of sex as fun instead of an obligation.

What is your definition of a Feminist? someone who believes in equal rights, or someone who believes men should be the slave of women? You have to define the term before you can say who or what has better sex.

i would say a feminist woman is far more likely to recognize her own needs and voice them. additionally, a feminist man is not going to just get off and go to sleep, because he BELIEVES in equality.
