Flipping channels I came across Rush Limbaugh and couldn't believe what an idiot he is. a caller called in that didn't agree with him and Rush acted like he was so mad that he had to count to 10 outloud and then proceded to call the guy names. He didn't have any solutions to problems but spent all his time bashing people who don't agree with him. This is not news, what is it??? No wonder people are so intolerant of each other and don't feel the need to compromise if this is what they listen to and believe is what the truth is. Aren't we all better than that???

you all must not be listening to talk radio- its informative - usually talks about things which are on the news- I have done alot of research on what they talk about and they are much more accurate then the News will ever be-

as for fear their messages and talking about hate speech. I listen to many different ones - and also NPR - i like to get a big view of the entire picture from both sides- I have never heard hate speach. Its their right to voice their opinion.

I would begin fearing it when they are forced to be silent.

Well..... I listen sometimes to get facts and make my own assessment. Hopefully people that do listen can sort the cr** just like you have to with ABC,NBC,and CBS. I do not get Rush on my radio but I do listen to KSEV 700 in Texas and it is quite informational and callers have there say but usually the ones that are totally of the wall frustrate the hosts and they really do not have time for their idiocy.

The good news is that for every talk show host opinion there exists a powerfully opposite opinion.

We used to have objective journalism.

Now we have subjective journalism.

I'm not worried about the journalists so much as the average citizen. I'm finding that EVERYBODY wants to talk and NOBODY wants to listen.

People have forgotten the difference between a dialogue and a monologue.

i love talk radio i seem to learn things that the news media cant or wont talk about. When i have a station on that i don't like i just change the channel.Seems you have a ha-t on for Rush hey if you don't like him go to another station! Or do you just want him off the air ? Remember hate is stronger then love.

I totally agree. Bill O'Rilley is the worst. If you don't agree with him, your a cool aid drinker. Who are the real cool aid drinkers? The ones who think for themselves, and ask questions, or the ones who follow and agree with these talk show hosts just because they have the same politics. They are for freedom of speech, as long as you agree with them. I am a total right wing conservative, and I am fed up with these clowns telling me what I should think and believe. I'm a great American. I don't need Hannity to tell me I am!

I stopped listening to these talk-show extremists long ago. They have little interest in the facts, and no interest in giving a balanced view of an issue. They take an extreme position and harp on it in order to entertain and maintain their audience.

It isn't news, its editorializing in the extreme. Shouting, demeaning, and pummeling the opposition is their modus operandi. It troubles me that the faithful listen, reinforce these views by talking among themselves, and do not examine the complexity of the issues.

Libs have such thin skin....
If you want a dose of irrational name calling hatred try Air America.
More people listen to Rush than any other show, myself included.

I have never heard Rush go off on someone who called in. In fact, of all the talk radio hosts, he is the most tolerate and reasonable in dealing with folks who have differing views.

Just try calling into Air America (leftist radio, if it's still up) with differing views and you'll get fried.

The only people that listen to the idiot are people that are just like him. They love his BS. The rest don't listen, so we don't fear him. The only thing he is accomplishing is causing his cult to lose Friends by repeating his hate spewing.

Its not about being a bigot or hatred. Its about right and wrong. With out these voices out there, the majority of truth loving patriotic Americans, wouldn't have a voice. God knows the main stream media wouldn't tell you the story.
