I'm making a childrens story with Santa and his elves featured,I need to come up with 6 names for the Elves...something cute or meaningful will be cool,they will wear the names on their little shirts and the initial on their little shoes..=)*Thanks alot for any help or ideas ya may have!(you guys are great with names btw!)

I tried to come up with some names with meaning and character. All the names correspond to items/terms used in/around the holidays. I had fun creating the back story to the names, but you don't have to use that. I was just having fun.
Gum Drop - Girl Elf, with a bubbly personality, popular, all the boy elves love her . . . but she creates drama and can have a temper . . Don't pop her bubble, or she will show you how sticky gum can get!
Twinkle Toes - Boy Elf - loves to dance to Xmas songs, he is the life of the party (or the work day), but often gets into a little trouble to which he smiles & dances his way out of. He likes Candy Cane, but won't admit it.
Candy Cane - Girl Elf - Very sweet personality, girl next door type. Boy elves like her, but are too scared to approach her. Her BFF (best friend forever) is Apple Cider, and she has a major crush on Garland Sparkle. Candy Cane and Gum Drop are civil with each other but aren't really friends.
Apple Cider - Girl Elf - Warm and comforting personality. She would be the one to realize when you are upset. She is the helper of all, the sholder to cry on, and is very sensitive and understanding. She loves to give upset people a cup of hot apple cider. Her BFF is Candy Cane.
Garland Sparkle - Boy Elf - popular, out going, a true motivator, but like most popular and slightly self absorbed boys, he forgets how he effects others. He often hurts peoples feelings, and then never understands why one might be upset with him. In the end though, he can talk his way out of any situation and can save the day with his motivating speeches. He is a flirt as well, but doesn't really have any crushes - he just likes attention. His nickname is "Sparky". He and Twinkle Toes are buds, and they pick on Happy sometimes for fun . . . Happy is oblivious to it, doesn't realize it, and is just happy to be encluded in the group.
Happy Twilight - Boy or Girl Elf - is happy all the time, cheers everyone up. Happy never sees the glass half empty, no one can bring Happy down . . . Happy is always seeing the bright side of things, sometimes he/she is seen as ditsy and unaware. But Happy is so cute and cheery all the time that you can't help but love him/her.
