I'm just wondering how long all you pregnant ladies plan to work for. Do you work full time? What do you do for work?

My daughter is 8 months along and works two jobs, sometimes double shifts. She is still plugging along but she feels good and has not had any problems except for measuring 41 weeks (yep that's what they said) at 36 1/2 weeks.
So it depends on you and how you feel and how healthy the pregnancy progresses, etc...etc....

I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and I'm still working full time. I'm an administrative assistant, so my days consist of sitting at a desk all day. I plan on working up until I go into labor. It's a very stress-free job, which is why I will continue to work. If I had a different job, like any of my previous jobs as pharmacy technicians, standing on my feet all day, I would have already started my maternity leave. It's been hard though - even though I have a comfortable chair, my back still kills me by the end of the day. I'm getting very tired by lunch time, so hopefully I don't have too much longer!!

I worked up until my due date then I figured I better rest because I will not be able to for a long time once the baby is born. I was a week late.
I worked full time in an office so I sat all day but now that I am back to work I started with 3 days and now work 4 days a week.

I actually shoe horses. I worked at a pretty decent part time pace and stopped about five days before my son was born, I only canceled my very last appointment because it was in the mid-90's and that's probably a good thing because he came only 4 days later, 10 days early.
This time I'm working quit a bit less but still shoeing, it's much easier being due in winter because feet grow slower so I can really stretch the schedules to work for me. I plan on being done by early January and delivering at the end of the month or very early in February, I have to get back to the horses by mid March and get back in shape for the spring and summer rush.

I work full time, sitting at a desk, and I plan to work up until I go into labor. I only get 6 weeks off, and daycares don't take babies under 6 weeks, so I need to save all 6 weeks for after the baby comes.

If I had more time to take off though I'd take it after the baby comes and not before just because it's a little tough.

With my first pregnancy, I worked FULL-TIME as a nurse in a nursing home. Lucky for me, they moved me to the retirement home for the latter half of my pregnancy. It was far less stressful and no heavy lifting. I worked right up to my due date. I ended up being 2 weeks over-due though. lol

With my second pregnancy, I worked regular part-time (32 hours) at a different nursing home. Again, I got lucky and they put me strictly on medication administration. Little to no heavy lifting. I worked until 2 weeks before my due-date.

With my 3rd pregnancy, I didn't work at all. Sheesh, I had two little ones at home. So, technically, I did work! Keeping up with a 2 year old and a 5 month old was more work than "working" while pregnant. lol

I am a nurse, I work in a specialty clinic that is very busy, on my feet all day. I work 40+ hours per week. I had a baby 7 weeks ago and worked until I was 39 weeks, she was born 40 weeks 4 days. I plan to return to work when my daughter is 10 weeks old.

I'm a graphic artist and design assistant, and thankfully I have a full-time job that is not physically demanding (I'm tired enough as it is). But...I work for a company 60 miles away from where I live - and commute every day. So, I am only planning to work until 38 weeks, provided there are no complications.

I am 37 weeks and still working. I work in an office at a desk and computer all day. I will work until the Dr tells me to stop or I go into labor.
This is my second child. With my first I worked up until 12 hours before I delivered her.
