I didn't say "White Power" which is indicative of white supremacy and racism. I said "White Pride" which is indicative of a pride in self and ancestry. People need to learn to tell the difference.

teresath- You are wrong. Simply being in the majority (which, according to the latest info from the US census Bureau, whites are no longer) does not not negate a person from having the right to be proud of who they are. And, just how does "Black Pride" differ?
You racist minority members are totally predjudiced towards whites and the sickening thing is that in todays "politically correct" environment you don't even have to try to hide it. There is the "Black Entertainment Network", "Black-Only" Colleges and Universities, organizations to promote black small-business owners and I could go on and on. What do you think would happen if there was a "white Entertainment Network" or a "White Small-Business Association" they would be instantly assailed by the ACLU, NAACP, and both the Reverend Jesse Jackson AND Al Sharpton instantly.
I am no Nazi white-supremacist, but it is obvious that Americas zeal to atone for past injustice has created racism against the white middle-class male.

Wow. A bunch of white guilt answers. Color is caused by reflection of the different wavelengths of light. White reflects all, thus still a color. Black reflects very little, but still a color. Idiots. As for the question, when I hear White Pride I think of somebody that is fed up with being trashed at will, and simply showing equal pride as somebody that says Black Pride.

"Pride" usually indicates pride in an achievement, particularly in overcoming oppression or prejudice. Any majority group usually has too much influence to be affected by the prejudices of others, and therefore doesn't face real "oppression" like a minority group does. Therefore, "pride" is not really justified for a majority group.

So your definition of "pride" is a little incomplete, and your argument stumbles - white pride is not the same thing as black pride.

Neither black nor white is a color. white isn't any hues in any understand, black is all hues collectively. yet to respond to the Q, race is the 1st element that pops into my recommendations. i'm in actuality responding to social cues.

Ignorant, dumb, stupid, duh?

Just because it's kind of (pick a word from above) to be proud of an inherent genetic trait.

Albino Pride and Freckle Pride will be next, I assume....
