that the only way they can get any satifaction in life is to demean other people. For the way they think, act, answer questions, ask questions and so on. Trolls can't poke fun at themselves like normal healthy people do, because it makes them look small in their own eyes, therefore they think all people look at them that way. What is your opinion?

I think they are also the people who key cars because someone has a nicer car than they do. They are the people who complain that the kids playing in the park are too noisy. They are the people who poison cats and dogs too I imagine. The vicious nasty little people who cant stand to see anyone happy or having a good time, so they spread nasty vicious rumours about people, try to break up friendships and relationships, plant seeds of suspicion, make up stuff and tell "their friends" that so-and-so said this about you -

They are really not healthy people, a lot suffer from substance abuse, as you say have low self esteem which they cover up by being loud mouthed trouble making bullies, they have no sense of humour unless its a someone else's expense, and their idea of humour is something that causes pain to another person.

They are the people who clog up our 911 lines complaining because a baby crying next door is keeping them awake, or the neighbours five year old let his ball roll into their yard.

Seeing someone arrested is an "orgasmic delight" to them - they LOVE to see people "punished" for crimes, real or imaginary. They feel so "gratified and satisfied" when a question or answer is removed, a child is punished, they yell at someone smaller and weaker than they are --

They spend their lives watching, and searching for some injustice so they can report it and then pat themselves on the back and tell everyone they are a "upstanding, law abiding" citizen who doesnt "accept any nonsense" from anyone, they tell themselves they "just tell it like it is" and if people dont like it too bad - they are self righteous, mean spirited, constipated, ulcer ridden, nasty little people :-) God help them.

Quite a few of the furries I know genuinely believe they were an animal in a previous life, and identify more with that lifetime than with being a human. This gives them a very strong feeling of alienation, of not understanding their role in human society. Hence a range of low self esteem behaviors, from shy to antisocial. BTW, I'm one of those kind of furries. I definitely have memories of a past life as a lioness. But I am working on understanding humanity in general and I would like for nothing better than for human society to recognize animals as the intelligent, emotional creatures they are. But you probably think I'm nuts.

The trolls are very hostile people. All that anger has to come from somewhere so low self-esteem could be the reason. Either that or they were just born mean! I sincerely hope they get all that meanness out of their systems here on Yahoo!Answers so I don't run into them face-to-face in real life.

Either low self-esteem or a Napoleon complex. For people who have never come across that before, it is generally used to explain the over-dominating behaviour of a physically small person. But it can also be applied to a small-minded person equally well.

Hey, have I just named our troll? Napoleon the Nincompoop!

I feel that one of the trolls is a definite mental case. She/he was very dominant here for the first few months I visited, she/he blocked me in a heart beat. Once we started having fun she/he started getting nasty and once the questions asked by the troll were not the dominance here it quit posting and comes back and seeks revenge. The level was 6, very few answers ever and 5% correct answers. No contact or profile all things blocked.

I think they have to be a very bitter person to come on here and treat innocent people mean. I suppose I am sending out an invite to invade me, so whatever, I am not here enough to be bothered. I hate to see the repeated and almost never ending contempt these/ this person is dishing out to all the good people on this site.

I agree and I pity them. How awful to have a life where your joy comes from trying to cause others to be aggravated or hurt. Indeed they are small, simple minded, pitiful people. They are missing out on so much of the joy and fun in life, sad-very sad.

I think you're right on the mark and to add to your words, I also believe that many trolls suffer from narcissism...[A psychological condition characterized by self-preoccupation, lack of empathy, and unconscious deficits in self-esteem. ] - the remainder are just plain mean spirited people
