It's good for a man to show his emotions, I'm not talking about breaking down crying over every liittle thing, but if something means alot to him and he needs to show his emotions, then why not...

I think that it's a good thing. I don't like my husband to hold anything back. There have been times when I needed to see/hear him cry & I was glad that he was strong enough to let that out. He's admitted that he still feels uncomfortable showing all his emotions (he's in the Army... can't blame him..) but in several cases it's allowed me to see that I was not alone in my feelings.
October 29th will be a year ago that we (engaged at the time) had to say goodbye to each other.... & we had no idea for how long... sittin' in my truck on post, I of course was emotional that entire last weekend.... but he let himself shed just a few tears without fear of me judging him & I needed that more than anything at that moment. I had to be reassured that I was not alone in my feelings. I thanked him later, & he kinda got protective, can't blame him... in his line of work, I'm sure it's seen as a sign of weakness at times.
Anyways, sorry, long story short...... I think it's a great thing when a man is not scared to show his emotion...

He's a real man. My significant other broke down and cried like a baby when his former wife passed away. There is nothing wrong with showing emotions.
In my opinion, a wimp is someone who is afraid to show emotions or for that matter, refuse to admit they have them. Not being able to cry doesn't make them a better man. In fact,
I would want nothing to do with a man who is like that.

I think it is a good thing for a man to show his emotions & cry. It takes a real man to own up to his feelings & this is just another part of that. If you hold all that stuff in it is going to find other ways to get out, whether it is taken out on himself or other people. All in all, it is very healthy to cry when something that has happened in your life requires that type of response, whether you are a woman or a man.

I love it in moderation, it shows that a man is in touch with his emotions and hasn't just been brought up to hide his feelings because some people think that boys shouldn't cry. But I wouldn't like it if I were with someone who cried all the time either. It's no different with girls, I get really irritated if someone cries constantly. I used to have a friend who was always either crying or talking about times when she had been crying and it did my head in.

there is a limit to crying for noth men and women. I don't see anything wrong with a man who cries, but at the same time I want my man to be a manly man. lol <33 muah.

I like an man who can show his emotions & doesn't clam up when it comes to expressing them. Although, on the other hand I don't think I'd be too interested in a man who was crying all the time. Sometimes it is called for, such as at your wedding (a tear is nice) or at a funeral.

As long as he doesn't cry at every other thing that happens! I can appreciate a man who's not afraid to show emotion. I makes him more real.
