It isn't the battle theme, I know for sure. I have the soundtrack. The website it is on is my own site which I uploaded the song to so I could ask the question here.

As correctly stated below, this is the very opening of Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana' - the movement entitled 'O, Fortuna'.

'Carmina Burana' is actually a wonderful 50-minute scenic cantata for soprano, tenor and baritone soloists, choir and orchestra and uses medieval (early 13th century) texts in Latin and Old High German from an old collection of poems of the same name.

The title 'Carmina Burana', as used for the original collection of poems, means Songs of Beuern, referring to the ancient abbey of Benediktbeuern in the Bavarian Alps. Carl Orff's version was first performed in Frankfurt in 1937.

Cat's right. O fortuna has been used over and over in movies, vidoegame commercials, etc. -- can't say I've heard about the Old Spice one, but I wouldn't be surprised. You'll also find a lot of O fortuna-"ish" rip-offs out there.

If you're feeling adventurous, get your hands on a good recording (buy it or rent from library). I recommend the Robert Shaw version. Take a look at the text too. Some of those poems are a little "naughty". Quite entertaining!

Yup it's Orff's Carmina Burana, O Fortuna no mistake. Used for years in the Old Spice advert.

It is from Orff's Carmina Burana, O Fortuna (the first movement) I believe. They use it in lots of movies, tv episodes, commercials, which is probably why it's driving you crazy!
