Fox News reported that Al Quida is responsible for the forest fires down in San Diego. Looks like Osama finally kept his promise and now hes burning up all the california liberals and rich people! But wait, Bush even showed up in california within 24 hours of the fire starting. Im so confused.. Maybe the republicans can explain it. Whats going on republicans? Hows the terrorist plot commin together in california? Anyone actually BELIEVE Fox News? Does Bush really hate poor and black people afterall?

That report was 4 years old. It was conjecture not fact. Plus they weren't looking at California but other states.

Not necessarily. Fox News did run a bit where they toyed with the idea that Al Qaeda could have started the fires.
Fox News loves to scare people, hence why they're the only network that still uses the color-coded-terrorism-threat-level-meter, which has never dipped below orange since 9/11, even though we've never had an attack.
Fox News caters to the gullible paranoid people.

That's news to me! So far, most of the fires were due to downed powerline from the very high Santa Ana winds. Only 2 fires that I am aware of are arson related. We have one huge tree that was uprooted from the winds. Also, we are watching the Poomacha Fire as it is coming down the north face of Palomar Mountain. This one started from a house fire on the La Jolla Indian Reservation.....accident or arson? We don't know. The Santa Ana winds have stopped and only slight breezes are happening now. Please, everyone don't argue on the causes for now. All of this will be thoroughly investigaged. Just please say many prayers for everyone here in So. Cali.

To all of the morons calling the poster a liar, please do some research on this. Yesterday on Fox News there was an alert at the bottom of the screen that said
…...FBI: Al Qaeda may have started the fires……
The report that they got this info from was four years old, however the people on Fox news where saying that this info was only a month old.
I keep waiting for them to apologize for their mistake!

If reported that way, then FOX's motives are obvious. The CA fires are enormous, and firefighters in the western US in general have said that they are seeing changes in the scale of fires that correlate with changes they've noticed in climate.
In other words, changes in precipitation, humidity, heat, and plant varietals are contributing to the frequency and scale of fires as well as the difficulties of fighting fires.
The phrase that FOX dreads is "climate change" or "global warming."
So, it serves FOX in two ways to morph the story into one of Islamic terrorism. First, it fans the flames of continued war in Iraq and beyond. Second, it channels concern about global warming to the public's fear of another 9/11 - which reinforces the first benefit.

thunmbs up on the source. I watched the video.
people should watch the video and decide for themselves..
ADD: so, if someone did set the forest on fire, and said they were AlQuida. so what? are people really still afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?? The wolf is a pup compared to the destruction the USA can do.

Libs have extremely bad comprehension skills. The Fox News report you're referring to (you know the one from the Daily KOS) does nothing more than discuss the claims of a detainee. The Fox report even specifically mentions that the detainee may be lying. Fox News isn't claiming the fires were started by terrorists. They are reporting that it has been determined to be arson and that a detainee claims it's terrorism.
No wonder you libs like the Daily Show for your news. Goldfish have better attention spans.
