If you are watching porn all the time or if you have done it for many years does it cause problems in your sex life? Examples: making you less affectionate, having trouble getting off, not wanting sex as often, lack of intimacy etc.....

porn is dirty and can take away from the intimacy.
being addicted to porn puts you that much closer to the sex offender list.

In my personal experience, porn is not a negative thing, but can actually be a positive.......
My guy watches it occasionally or checks out a website here and there and it doesn't bother me. He actually is the most affectionate guy towards me that i have ever been with, and our sex life is amazing and very fullfilling for us both. Sometimes we incorporate the porn into our sex life to spice it up a bit, but 99% of the time it is just me and him. We are very intimate and our sex includes a lot of intimacy and passion. Sometimes, a guy-or girl-just wants to "relieve stress" but not necessarily want sex. I understand that and heck, if he is going to be in a better mood afterwards-I am all for it. We have been together for quite some time and we still have sex usually at least 3-4 times during the week, and sometimes 3-4 times per day on the weekends when we have time alone together. Men are definitely more visual creatures and porn provides that....and the fantasy of that "hot teacher" they had in junior high or whatever. Use the porn as a learning tool to see what your guy's fantasies are and then you can incorporate them into real life.

Very strange that the one answer that pointed out a valid reason for men watching porn has already recieved 7 thumbs down.
What this tells me is that the people voting and answering this question aren't really looking for answers as much as they want to promote their personal beliefs.
Porn can lead to better intimacy, especially if watched together. It can also stimulate males and females visually and pique their imaginations. That leads to a better sex life, which leads to more intimacy, which leads to more affection.........
But it is also a very effective way to help take care of "business" on your own, which does have to occur from time to time for various reasons.
Now all the people who voted thumbs down on the answer that said women use their vaginas as bargaining chips---are you reading the questions here??? How many times a day does some female decide to cut her boyfriend or spouse off in order to get her own way? Too many to count!

It all depends on what the guy is into. Most men fantasies about what type of sexual attraction he wants and porn is a way of filling that void of not getting it like that at home. Imagination! Now if you watched the porn with him and kind of picked up some pointers on what he likes he will easily switch his attention from less porn to more you because that fantasy girl or sexual stimulation he sees he has it in you. Men or easy to please you just have to know how to push the buttons.
Some women don't understand why some guys look at porn but mainly it's that fantasy that he wants.

Every person is different. You can not make blanket statements about this topic. Some men will use porn and be less affectionate. Some will view for what it is and not have if affect their sex life.

Porn who needs it if your watching it it means your not getting it lol me I dont need porn nor do I see myself watching it in the near future.Plus what I hear once youve seen 1 you seen them all lol.

Men watch porn, because our girls dont provide us with what we need and/or want. We would always prefer the real thing, but girls use their vagina as a bargaining chip to get what they want, we dont want to play games, we want to get the goodies and not have all the hassles.
