I came on this morning to sort of relax the brain from the confusion at learning a new site. I find many of the same faces back here. Is the other just for fun and this just for serious? I'm actually quite a novice at these things.

dear felines,i am lost what other site?or is just a place for the popular ones to go to on here.its getting like a soap opera in here,if yourr not one of the popular 5 or 6 here,you get no best answers here eny more.it seems like all my elderly friends in here are gone.i was wandering where every one had went?

Well, I'm probably the least computer literate of all the Seniors, but somehow I found my way in last night. Was just so exhausted and frustrated afterwards, that I didn't stay long. Felt like my brain was fried!
Alchi and GW, if I did, you can too!
Janice...go to Yahoo groups and type in senior_YA_rejects_and_outlaws. You'll have to "apply" to join, and it may take a few minutes afterwards to be notified, but Dragon and friends will get to you as soon as possible. Lots of people have made it over, and they're enjoying their new found freedom away from violations and trolls.
But this is also home, so I'll be flipping back and forth like the others. Love Answers too much and am comfortable here with the slower pace.

I sincerely hope people dont desert this site, for that one, and continue to do both.
I am very very stiff and sore, muscles locked up solid from lying still for an hour for the MRI yesterday so wont be on here much today - unless the muscle relaxers actually work reasonably well for a change.
This is why I havent registered for the other site, that plus my mouse was damaged last night during an overly enthusiastic cleaning - I killed it, I wept, all the stores were closed, I grieved for the poor dead mouse, but I have a new one and have found closure, the old one is just a distant memory - this one is faster where it counts, and much better looking. :-)
C'est la vie n'est ce pas?

I got on the new site too and it looks like it is for fun and info. I like both. Here we do get a lot of needless violations for no good reason and there we won't. I got one last night for answering a question about trade winds. A straight forward question and answer! Ridiculous.
Edit: For Alcohi, it's a group site for everyone except the trolls that keep giving out violations for no good reason. Come join at senior-ya-rejects-and-outlaws. Go to yahoo groups to find it.

You can have fun at both places or be as serious as you wish in either spot.
Many of the old guard will continue to flip back & forth to each site-some folks just don't care for the different format of new site.
But guess which one won't have Trolls? Sure a troll or 2 might get in using a different name etc. but there are no thumbs down on that site & I hear tell the moderator can be a real dragon when she wants to be. I do have the option to accept or reject folks that want on the site, & to kick their butts off if they cause problems. I 'll try real hard not to let it go to my head.
If you have a problem with the new site, just contact me & I'll walk you through it. Once you get the hang of it, it is real easy.

I just got on and checked in to see what questions there were to answer. I'm flipping back and forth and still learning my way around the new site. I'm new at this too. I'm trying to figure out who from here is over there too. We can post which ever place or both if we want. We're just more free to have our stories and fun over there.

.Both will be fun. And we just have to ignore the trolls. I got a "V": this morning. For saying I was lost, trying to find the party, 'new site", from Cultures and Groups. They all though I had been taking some bad, bad stuff and was tripping out! I laughed with my flatmate till we cried. As he knows how I feel about drugs. GW, let me take you by the hand to the new site.

Well, I seem to be the only one who can't get on the new site....is this telling me something? My self esteem has just gone through the floor, I feel powerless, and the only resort I have left is to become a troll! Does anyone know how that is done? I need help here :-) Phil

No, cause I am here too! It took me a long time to get to the new site, but I finally made it and even posted a picture of my beloved kitty. Now I just have to find one of me to post. I am switching back and forth myself.

I'm back also after trying to navigate around and see how and figure out who and what is what. We'll get the hang of it. I think some of the others have taken off for work. Dragon and Min will help us.
