It's not normal.. but it is possible you are pregnant.. with my last baby I KNEW that I was pregnant but kept testing negative.. even had a NEG blood test.. so I waited a couple of weeks and tested again and ended up not getting a positive test until I was over 7 weeks.. So don't let it get you down... just wait a week or two and test again...
Good luck...

I am like "Legs",lol...all my pregnancies I got negative test until I was 6-7 weeks along and only the blood test not the urine until I was 8 weeks along:O. Some women just have lower levels of hcg and thats normal. So yes you could still be pregnant. Or go and get a blood test, that test for 5mIU.

I mean they told me with my youngest son that I had a blighted ovum or ectopic pregnancy, because they didn't see a yolk and there was no heartbeat..well he is now a healthy 24 pound and 31 inch ten month old, so I think they were quite wrong LOL.

Either have the dr order a BETA (gives you a number, not a + or -), or wait and test again in a week. If you've had a + test and they're now negative you probably miscarried (I know plenty of women this has happened to, it's very sad) and will get your period eventually. Otherwise you may have just ovulated very late or have an anovulatory cycle, both of which are occasionally normal. You should call the dr if you think you're pregnant though.

If you have taken a home pregnancy test and it came back negative you may not be as far a long as you think. The best thing to do is go to the dr and they can confirm everything for you through blood tests and a possible vaginal ultra sound, although it maybe a little early for that.

If you have previously tested postive ( which I am under the assumption that you did otherwise you wouldn't be quite as sure that you are pregnant) then that is not normal unless maybe it is a faulty test.

It's not normal, but it does happen. I went to the ER (because I had pneumonia) and sure that I was 5 1/2 weeks pregnant, and they even did a urine and blood test and both came back normal (not pregnant). I was positive that I was pregnant. Finally, after few days over 6 weeks, I finally got my pregnancy to show up on a pregnancy test. The doctors can't explain it, and neither can I, but just be patient- sometimes you just need to listen to your intuition. Good luck. (By the way, my son was born 2 days late by my calculations, and was and is, perfectly healthy.)

yes that is normal it just happend to me :) I took like 3 tests because I just knew I was pregnant they all kept saying NEGATIVE... I finally took another one just the other day and it finally said POSITIVE. I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and have my first appointment for tomorrow :) You can always go to the clinic and get a in clinic test and they will draw blood from you... Hope this helps because I was in the same boat you were posting is this normal on here just about a week ago LoL.

Not usually. If you had a positive test before, and it's now negative, it's never a good sign. See your doctor immediately.

No, I had a postive at 4 weeks and 1 day. And I'm continaully getting positives. You should have a postive if you are 5 weeks now. Sorry :(

If you're pregnant, you should not get a negative read on a pregnancy test. It has happened before, but it isn't the norm.

I know someone whose blood tests and HPTs kept shoring negative until she was past 7 weeks.

In your case, since you already had a positive test, test again with your morning pee. If its negative again, please see a doctor. did you bleed at all? How far along are you?
