As it is being abused by a lot of stupid questions that are not polls or surveys (and yes i know you will abuse this question).
It just seems to be used for everything, dont get me wrong, i love a joke and laugh, but think it should be in joke section, or even have an adult only section where anything goes.
Should this section be closed.

Has i did say, its not that i dont like the questions, its that i think they should be in a different section, an adult section just not polls and surveys.

ok, im being slapped about now. lol. abusive emails too, nice. heres my reply to them:
thanks for your feedback, i was asking an honest question, its not that i dont like the section, i do, but feel it could be better placed in adult only page (because some of the stuff is damnright wrong - but funny) and not using polls and surveys.
also polls and surveys questions are asked so often, that many are missed.

They would never close it down. Most of the bulk of all users here on Answers, answer regularly on Polls and surveys. Closing it down means they are losing money, especially in the advertising section.

So you get a few stupid posts. Just ignore them. This site is extremely active. It gets responses usually in seconds, so it is a site that makes A! lively and fun. Lighten up.
Its a smorgasbord, so sample want you want and turn your nose up at the rest. I like the lasagna, sometimes the salmon, always the dessert! How about y'all?

If you don't like it, why do you come here?
Why is your first instinct to change things for other people (those who have no problem with it)?
9 times out of 10, when someone quibbles over a definition like this, it's nothing more than a matter of personal preference. What constitutes a "poll" (in this instance of quibbling) is generally in the eye of the beholder.

It 's almost as foolish as playing on the road because of the reporters who stalk p & s,and an adult section would be nice to see,I would use that.

Oh God, no. Yeah, I know, it's been filled with "wrongly categorized" questions but the questions here interest me. But still it would be such a waste of time to go from one category to another, and besides, the people here are like ... a family now (<-Oh God, corny much?)
