You may need a diagram of the Mother Board. I will try to explain. First, are these individual wires or are they together in a connector? Each wire end should show on the connector what it is, may be hard to see. On the board you looking for a small power plug and I will try to find a picture. But, in a basic explain the connector will be small and have about 6-8 little pins sticking up. Be 3-4 in a row beside the other 3-4. On the Board it will have what each pin is. This stuff is small and you may need a magnifying glass and bright light that not blind you, but, lights the work area.
Having a pair of small needle nose pliers really helps too. Be sure to turn off the computer on the back and unplug.
The links may help, this may not be Exact to your board. First is the connectors and second is the pins. Notice the pins on the right in the second picture. See PWR_LED? This for a light and it have - and + Some of the Power connections may look a little different, they may have a little clip on one side to hold the connector, but, they should show on the board what each pin is.

Check the manual. Also, the first set uses all of the wires, the second uses all but the negative. Of course, that is depending on the board.

You gotta look at the manual for the motherboard. All manuals should have a diagram. If you don't have a manual... you should be able to get on online.
