Lots of people are into the "MySpace" thing today.
Look him up on myspace.com and your friends as well.
You might get lucky that way. Signing up is free.
Also, you can google him if you know what state he was in last you knew. Then call the numbers and see if you can find him.
Another option for your friends is Classmates.com
Lots of people register there, or on reunion.com to find people.

I have found so many lost friends on the internet without paying a dime. It's a little bit of work, but if you want to find your brother you can do it. All you need is his name. I can't get you an e-mail address, but you can get pretty far if you try. Go to any website that helps you to find people, then type in his name and they will give a list of all the names that match his with a list of relatives. Find the right one, then take it to the internet yellow pages. If he's out there you can probable find a number. Good luck!!!

This is not a dumb thing. First, why have you lost touch with your brother? That's way more important than friends you've lost touch with.
Do you know any of your brother's friends? Ask them. In fact, don't your parents know?
Try Google or Yahoo Search by typing his name in. Sure, you will get those "search ads", you may also find him.

Ask your parents. They must be in touch with him.
You haven't written to him or seen him since he went into service???
You can type a persons name into your search engine and see what comes up. I frequently find people that way.

Perhaps you could ask your relatives if they have any idea where he is. If not, ask them for some names of old friends he might have kept in touch with. Any particular reason he lost touch with his family?
