Homework is a pain in the ***, but it's worth it and the consequences of not doing it are low grades, low self esteem, hating school, angry parents, and awkwardness around teachers. The best thing to do is just DO the homework. Don't try to think, "I shouldn't..." or doubt yourself - just do it! You have to be smart about it, do the homework that is most important first, leave the little things for last, take frequent breaks, no eating while working as it's distracting, NO TV until you are COMPLETELY done.

Most of the "good or bad" is a matter of the choices of games played.
This is what someone my age (69) feels is good. Some of the games I play help me to are keep my brain active and keen and alert.
Bad games would be those that are filled with too much violence which in some way influence the minds of some people especially younger more impressionable minds are those that already have personality issues.
It's the same thing with TV, too much violence is hurtful to a mind that has already been abused.
The good in TV is, it can also be used for a learning tool. History channel..Home improvement shows Animal Planet, lot and lots of worthwhile learning channels.

I will provide my take on them and you can take the positives and negatives and write your own paper.
Computer games vary, thus the attributes vary with them. All action games develop very good hand-eye coordination and a little problem solving or strategic thinking, and keep players busy and out of trouble, so they are good in moderation. However, they are very addictive and tend to replace a lot of better things like outdoor play and reading. Some action games, called first person shooter, or shoot-em-up games, are violent and can get very graphic leading to the player developing a more acceptance and comfortableness of violence.
Fantasy role-playing games are similar to the first person shooter games, but with more strategic thinking, less coordination, less graphic violence, and mostly fantasy characters, so the violence is almost never directed toward other humans.
Simulation games are realistic role-playing games but without the violence. Because all the characters are human, the players can more identify with the characters even to the extreme of taking on that imagined persona.
Strategy games vary from checkers to commanders of space warfare. They typically have little or no graphic violence and require lots of constant strategic thinking to be successful.
Television (TV) shows, like computer games vary widely, especially if you include paid programming. Some shows have some use of providing news or stimulating the mind, the rest can be a waste of time, or worse, a waste of time that corrupts the mind. Free TV varies but usually sticks to a certain theme at certain times of the day. Public TV has no commercials and offers positive children's shows, documentaries, music, and adult comedies that would rate no worse than PG.
Free TV has cartoons which have high violence and so are second to children's shows on public TV, yet still generally viewed as acceptable. Later, there are news shows, which are good for the community. After that are talk shows which vary from helpful tips to staged arguments about abnormal sex lives. After that are usually soap operas that are very dramatic about all things bad going on constantly in the lives of a small group of adults and would be rated PG-17 or worse for their sexual situations. Next up are wholesome game shows that challenge the mind at varying degrees. That is followed by a few hours of news. After that are a variety of prime-time shows with evening soap operas, situation comedies with ratings almost that of soap operas, animated adult comedies that rate PG-17 mostly for vulgar language and partial nudity, but also for sexual innuendos, sexual situations, and violence, and reality shows that show extreme situations like total strangers or wannabe singers making total fools of themselves, families from opposite extremes swapping spouses for a week, or average Americans trying to survive in a remote third-world country with an extreme climate like a desert or jungle. The end of the day usually has more news and then concludes with talk shows based on adult humor with celebrity guests.

when playing computer games, children get entertainment.
ill effects- they dont blink their eyes when playing. This will lead to eye defects in the future and they end up wearing specs.
tv:
whole family gets entertainment...
bad things- people get bad dreams by seeing horror movies and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Their eyes get spoiled and they change mentally in their behaviour. Children get violent by seeing action movies.
Mujhe vote karo bhaskar....

Some computer games are relaxing they help you unwind and focus which is good for your mental health. But they can also be addicted and staring at the screen for too long can cause seizures or destroy ur eyesight. Tv is educational , informative and entertaing but they also teach violence and bad habits.

People blame their behavior on video games or movies they have seen. All you have to do is watch the news. There is always someone blaming the video games or movies for something.
