LSU is #3 across the boards. Are you venting or seriously asking the question? If LSU wins out the rest of the year including the SEC Championship game, no one in their right mind will keep them out of the national championship game.

I think LSU is better even though they really should have three losses right now. The refs saved them in both the florida game and especially in the Auburn game. They even struggled against lowly Tulane. Still, they are better than Ohio State. I hope Oklahoma or LSU gets to play the Buckeyes for the title. I shall win a lot of yankee money that way.

Because until there is a playoff there is no way of saying who is the best. The BCS is better than what we had before, but how can Ohio State control what LSU does? How can they control what anyone else in their conference does other than when they play them? They cant. Do they have a week schedule? Yes. Do they normaly play one of the best teams in the country at the begining of the year (Texas, OK, Miami, USC)? Yes, but not this year because they couldnt get anyone scheduled. Let them play out and see what happens. Every team is in control of their own destiny. If LSU was the best team in the country they wouldnt have lost to UK. Thats the bottom line. Dont blame OSU for LSU lossing. Blame UK!

It's mostly because Ohio State has actually WON all of their games, while LSU lost to a Kentucky team that they were supposed to defeat easily.
I don't necessarily think the Buckeyes are the best team in the country, but they're undefeated, play in a major conference, and have dominated most of their games. Personally, I think LSU is extremely talented, but the fact remains that they lost a game. LSU just needs to keep winning, and let the schedule take care of the rest.

To all the morons boasting about how Ohio State has won all their games: I think most intelligent people would agree that Notre Dame, even with their pitiful team, could have won against all the teams Ohio State has played so far this year.

when you say week in and out you mean to include teams like
Tulane, Miss. State, Middle Tenn?
how about a defense that has not allowed a touchdown this season, and has not lost a regular season game since 2005? a team that is 4-1 in bcs bowl games. you should be thankful that you are not a Two Loss team right now, you were 1 play away from that. so just be thankful, and stop complaining

It won't matter after Ohio State loses a couple of there last few games and LSU loses to Alabama. Neither team will be in it at the end.

It's because, if they were put any lower in the standings after being undefeated against middle school talent teams then, they would all cry and stomp there wittle feets and hold their breath until the nation would have to put them on their pedastal, at least till Penn St. knocks their sorry A$$E$ back down to terra firma where they truly belong !
That's why.

Hey Calill C if Notre Dame could beat everyone that is on the Buckeyes schedule why did they lose to teams that OSU has already beat, or will beat this year?

this question has been played out many times
all by biased fans of other teams
get over it.
they are ranked number one because they're a Big 10 team who is undefeated..........and the "better teams" have all lost
seriously, if you don't actually understand why, you should start watching some football coverage
