Get a lawn weed killer such as 'Verdone' or use lawn sand. The best is prevention rather than cure. On a good healthy lawn weeds will have trouble establishing themselves in the first place. The dandelion is a deep rooted annual which is very hard to eradicate. It will take time, effort and patients. To help the situation, cut off the flower buds as soon as they appear.
