50 Grand is a life changing amount... lets say chances are you most likely won't get caught... what do you think? Would you do it?

its life changing when you make 20K per year, are a college student, and live in a one-room Trailer with no heating...

I'll take morality.

For me, that's not really a life-changing amount. Even if you'd chosen a number that was, I have to live with myself and don't want to feel disgust for the person in the mirror.

50 grand is not alot of money at all. it sure as hell is not "life changing" I make more than that in a year. It would be a nice windfall to pay off some bills and maybe get me a new plasma tv or something like that, but remember, 35-40% taxes will be taken off the top, so really it would be about $31000. I would take it in a heart beat, but not illegally. My future is worth more than that. Now 50 million and lets talk...

it sounds like you are decribing theft, rather than a bribe or payment to do something wrong.

I would like to think that I would choose morality, but I would have to admit that given my current debt/income ratio, I'd really have to think about it.

Of course, whose money this 50K was would also depend; it would be a lot easier to rationalize theft from an evil, murderous entity like Union Carbide or General Electric or Monsanto than it would be from a friend/small business/benevolent organization; in the later cases I'm certain to chose morality.

For 50 grand (UK Sterling) I would trade my morals and anyone else's you wanted.Heck I'd even .....oh wait.......lets leave it at that.
