Seems like people think if you go to community college that you are a moron. Well, not everyone has mommy and daddy paying for them to go to a university. A community college has the same accreditations as a university but is much much cheaper. You go to community for 2 yrs then transfer to a university after that to finish your degree, what is so bad about that? It saves thousands of dollars doing that. Reason I ask is someone on Y!A sent me a message saying I am an idiot for going to community college. I really don't get why it is THAT bad.

Its not bad at all its the smartest thing you can do. The other person is just a dumbass that has mommy and daddy paying there way through life so they can have a good time with no real responsibilities. Then change there major a few times and get a job completely unrelated to there education... But that's what there guidance counselor told them to do so they must be really smart right?

I feel that anyone who is trying to better themselves by getting more education by whatever means, i.e. night classes whether getting a degree or not..........through a high school just getting some compumter classes ..... is doing good for themselves. Going to a community college is an excellent idea.......

I think you are very smart to be going to college, end of story, and whoever told you that.......forget them....they probably did not even go to a college......

Community colleges are a great bargain. Most credits are transferable and it gives you a chance to decide what you want to do if you don't know yet. Just take the classes everyone has to take like English Comp, Speech, etc....

Don't worry with what some faceless moron thinks of you. Some of the biggest idiots I know graduated from reputable colleges.
