Telling her she won an international lottery all the need is her bank numbers. Yeah OK....
She wants to know who she can call to report this, would it do any good? What a blatant scam.

Local authorities. I beleive they have contacts available for international fraud. Good luck. Those punks need to go down.

There is very little she can do to catch the scammers. The best she can do is report it to her local police or even the F.B.I. but by the time anyone gets around to investigating, the scammers will be off working some other fraud. Tear it up and throw it away.

Attorney general of your state.
Department of Commerce (federal).

Both of these agencies are actively investigating scams like this.

If you want to bother, forward the fraudulent email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com, spam@uce.gov, and 419.fcd@usss.treas.gov.
