If you have Flight Simulator, you can get an add-on for the Eurofighter Typhoon, which is an impressive Jet Fighter. You can't fire the missiles, guns etc. but it's a good simulation of flying a Jet.

It's a refreshing change in Flight Simulator to be able to go 450mph ascending at an angle of 40 degrees and punishing the plane with G-forces.

There are other Jet Fighter games out there but I wouldn't call them simulation's as such..

Maddox Games/UBI teamed up and did the IL Sturmovik series. These were WW2 flying sims (rated the best and most accurate to date). As a side note you had the oppurtunity to fly the ME 262 which was the first jet built by the Germans during the war and there's a Soviet jet prototype also.

however they did a sim called "Lock-On" which allows you to fly the A-10, F-16 and F-22 as well as several Soviet jet aircraft as well. The game should be inexpensive too now. About ten dollars.

Combat flight simulator ?
but usually the jet fighter games are not realistic at all
they assume you know how to read the altimeter and there is no effect of wind or anything
i would suggest flight simulator for the most realistic flying experience ...

New on Xbox360 is Ace Combat. Pretty sweet graphics! The music is kinda boring...I only got to see the demo but it got pretty good reviews.
