Those that complain never use the "other" game that same Sunday to see why New England needed to make it's ONE and ONLY score in the second half of the game.
Tennessee nearly lost to Houston when Houston scored 29 points in the fourth quarter to take a one point lead (Tennessee won with an end of game field goal). That's why you don't just sit back, 28 point lead in the fourth quarter and Tennessee nearly lost.

because they got raped with no vaseline. AND JUST WHEN THEY THINK IT'S OVER.....Belichick puts Tom Brady BACK into the game and lets Brady tack on ANOTHER score for good measure. LT was RIGHT. RUNNING UP THE SCORE? That's classless. And it starts with Belichick. However, it was really funny to watch.

It's because "political correctness" has gone amok, filtering down to professional sports... everyone wants to "feel good" .. no winners or losers like they are preaching in the school systems..... if they can't take the loss like men, with some semblance of grace and dignity, they don't belong in professional competitive sports.

They were hoping that the Pats were going to be over confident and they would become the spoilers. They forgot Belichek wouldn't let the team get overconfident.

instead of running out the clock in the second half, the patriots called more passing plays than running plays. poor sportsmanship, definitely. and an ungrateful, hate filled coach. the article is kind of long, but it makes some really good points.
