I remember him seeing he destroyed the cubs chance for a world series in 2003. God i hated that guy but its good seeing him doing well.

Remember, Hanley was the NL ROY in 2006. This was the SS they could've kept so we wouldn't have had the revolving door at SS the last 4 years, which includes overpaying for Julio Lugo for 4 years. Another player in that deal, Anibal Sanchez, threw a no-no for them. So, while the Red Sox have done well in that deal getting Beckett and Lowell, the Fish haven't suffered in their end.

I was psyched when we got Beckett and Lowell. I didn't know Lowell would be this good, but Beckett was as good as expected. I liked him when he was a Marlin too.

I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have on the mound that Beckett when it counts. He still young and look at what he's done already.

beckett is the best period because he won 16 games and has the best fastball in the game.
