Actually, there were computers in 1972. The first 8-bit microprocessor shipped that year. And, more significantly, it's the year PONG shipped...

But to answer the question (which sounds like it came out of a UNIVAC) -- Here's my attempt:

1. Adolf Hitler
2. Mao Tze Tung
3. Josef Stalin
4. Ho Chi Minh
5. Judas Iscariot

I don't think Nixon would have made the list, because in 1972 the Watergate scandals hadn't yet peaked... And in any event, as much as he was despised for his actions, I don't think he held a candle to the extreme emotions evoked by mere mention of these other characters...

Except that you are saying "who does the Arab world hate"... I would imagine most of the Arab world sides with Palestine at this point (except mayyyyybe Egypt...) In which case... they hate...
