Not exactly, but every time it sees a police officer it will give the one fingered salute and then point a finger at YOU! It has even been known to pinch someones family jewels, permanently putting them beyond the help of Viagra. If I were you, I would leave well enough alone. You do not want to arouse the wrath of a confused sock puppet, do you?

Listen ambidextrous, you just keep that adorable sock on the left hand, if you move to the right he might start spouting off about bombing Iran, deporting gays, just say no, and no child left behind---everyone loves a clever sock puppet you just get him left or keep him there- love me (big fan of the s.p.)

Well he'll develop a split personality and wish to be clean all the time, have a trim on his hair, grow a little mustache and spectacles and speak in a French accent with small amounts of common French interspersed. Understand...oui.

not at all, although you may find he /she becomes withdrawn due to being wrenched from his intimate best friend. If done slowly and in the correct manner ie introducing th other hand over s period of time, nice days out and perhaps small trial periods then all should go smoothly.
