On the first day of school, there was this new teacher at my school. She is my english teacher. On the day me and my classmates met her, she always looked at me the most. First she looked at me, then everyone else and then looked back at me. I looked down at my book, then i took a peak and she still kept looking at me! why is this?

Well she is a new teacher. Maybe she was just nervous and instead of looking at everyone chose just one face to focus on, yours. That is a trick people use in public speaking, to focus on one face in the crowd. Were you sitting close to the middle of the classroom? I don't think you should have anything to worry about though.

Because you have very poor English, and that probably comes across in your appearance. You took a peak- like a mountain peak? And what do you mean the teacher "is--kept looking" at you. English is capitalized, and me and my; classmates? That's like saying "me met her".

You capitalize the first word in each sentence- so she looked at you because you are stone a$s dumb.

Lol, dude. You sat on the front and he used your e book as an occasion. He referred to as on you? Omgz what a creepy pedophile!!!!!!!!!1111one. And he appeared at you? Cerazy. look, i does no longer concentration plenty on it. it is not that insane, he's a instructor, whilst the semester is over you will by no skill even have him as a instructor back. yet whilst it does grow to be something extra intense you are able to checklist him. do no longer unfold rumors approximately him, the two. this is noticeably recommend, extraordinarily in the event that they are faulty. sturdy luck :) Edit - i'm sorry, i overreacted somewhat. yet i think of you're analyzing into it somewhat too plenty. once you're quite heavily apprehensive that this would positioned you in jeopardy then you could think of approximately moving to (or a minimum of nearer to) the back. i'm hoping all is going properly for you, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that :)

maybe she thinks she knows you from somewhere. or, you have a certain characteristic that they think is special, such as having extremely green eyes, darker/lighter skin etc. or they could like the style of your clothes, heard about from another teacher, wonder why you write a certain way, talk a certain way, get a certain grade in class...i wouldn't let it bother you, but if anything gets out of hand just ask simply, "Are you looking at me?" If the answer is yes, ask why. (you may consider asking this after class and changing the Are in the dialogue to Were) note-try not to be disrespectful about it and even state that you aren't trying to be disrespectful.
asking can't hurt if the curiosity is still killing you and if you couldn't figure 'why' out from this answer.

see it doesn't mean that she is attracted towards you. This used to happen with me also when i was in school... I am tall, and used to be attentive in the class.. so most of the all teachers used to teach the class but they used to look ed at me very often.
While teaching teacher searches for the face which is attentive and smart...

don't take it wrong way

1. She might find you attractive
2. You must be a good student and she might see a future or something in you.
3. Maybe she sees maturity you have over other students.

I agree with Wendy, sounds very odd. Report anything inappropriate.

if you were talking or being inattentive, then it should be obvious why teacher is looking.

teachers use "the look" to control the class
