Evolution is well-proven by years of scientific research, but Darwin's original theory has been corrected in many areas. Any science advances, after all. There is no other idea in biology that can compete with the latest developments in evolution.

For me I feel that evolution is obvious - we can see how humans and animals have evolved based on fossil evidence as well geographical evidence. Australia and New Zealand are two prime areas to show how animals evolved due to isolation. As for how Homo Sapiens came to be, well that's open for discussion and debate. Do we share a common ancestor with the Chimpanzee? Perhaps but it has yet to be scientifically proven. I believe that God stepped in and made humans what they are today by making us more than just animals - that's my theory and I feel that it fits with Genesis if you loosely interpret timing. For me, the more I learn about the world scientifically, the more awesome it is.

I agree with Darwin's actual theory of evolution, but vehemently disagree with the general interpretation of it.

I like the idea of evolution culminating in people, animals, etc... caring for each other, and that being the goal of evolution. I hate the pompous "survival of the fittest" interpretation that regards the weak as "unfit" and justifies "dominance" of the strong.

Interesting question!

Darwin's Theory of Evolution particularly of Man have long been considered a fallacy. Otherwise we have evolved to something else and not ended as Homo sapiens.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

I disagree with the pursuit of answers to questions that will do nothing to help us live. The theory of evolution has done nothing to impact our survival in any way. It has, however, created a very prosperous and lucrative industry that educates and employs many in the pursuit of finding the answer to a question that does absolutely nothing to aid in our survival.

scientific findings prove the theory, and is plausible in the aspects of scientific research. we evolved as a result of natural selection.

yes, i believe in the theory. the theory of natural selection is well supported by facts. and the idea is plausible. archaeologists found bones and remains of prior animals to homo sapiens and found the similar genes and DNA as that of ours.

in addition, yes it is true that we are not evolving right now for the fact that we don't have to. natural selection, we are apt to our environment, but then let's see, what's going to happen, thousands of years when global warming is at its peak. who knows, our id might take over, again.

hope i helped you! ^_^

Because it makes sense and is based on very careful research. It is also continually practiced by farmers, who call it hybridizing, by animal farmers who call it interbreeding and culling of undesirable traits, in laboratories with animals and microbes. Change is endless and some changes work better than others.
