Great Question. You are in luck. With the release of the new updated operating system on Friday you will be able to switch between OS X and Windows without any additional software. It is important to note that you will need to purchase a copy of Windows to install on your Apple computer but after that there is no additional software requirements beyond the OS that comes with the Apple. Hope you enjoy the computer!!!

John H is right, on Intel MAC.

The program he's talking about, in Leopard, is called "Boot Camp". Google for it more info.

You do need to buy a FULL version of XP and install all malware tools.
