I understand my Father when he first dated Mother around the late 1920s had a car called a "moon"?

I am not sure if that was the make,or just a model. When Mother was at work,a wag wrote on the wall "Lily is going out with the man in the moon"! I have never been able to locate this car.Can anyone help

I think she was probably refering to going out with an alien,not in a car called Moon
