Yeah, I guess that this is possible. Just because someone has enough best answers to give him/her a badge thingy, doesn't mean they can't be a troll. So I guess it really IS possible.

Some are, some aren't. I know that at least half of the TC in Politics are, and I'm pretty sure the ratio is fairly similar in the other categories.

yes, but not very often...most of the trolls are P&Sers, and P&S'ers can't be top contributors anymore.

I'm sure they could be....couldn't anyone? But they would have to only do the ones that truly are violations or I imagine they would lose trust with Y!A and lose their badges.
