Who in the world is John Cox? Something smells a bit fishy about this site. I scored over 80% for Cox, but the next closest was at 12%.

Oh wow, I thought it wouldn't guess which candidate best matched me, but it was dead right.
Arizona Senator John McCain (R)
76.19% match
Businessman John Cox (R) - 71.43%
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (R) - 71.43%
Texas Representative Ron Paul (R) - 71.43%
Too bad McCain's campaign is in shambles. And my current choice is Ron Paul. My issues are somewhat odd / independent, not based on party lines. I really thought I was going to break the thing.

Libertarian maximum suitable describes my political positions, so no marvel that I agreed with Dems on some themes and Reps on others. additionally no marvel that, given default equivalent weighting to all themes, my perspectives matched up maximum with Mike Gravel (a million) and Dennis Kucinich (3). The surprises for me have been that my regular perspectives matched maximum with Mike Gravel over Kucinich, with Mike Huckabee greater beneficial than Ron Paul, and that Huckabee (2) even have been given a average ingredient over Kucinich (3). thank you, very thrilling hyperlink!! i've got bookmarked it so i will bypass it directly to others and play around with the subject weighting aspects!

This was great! Thanks. I was matched up with Duncan Hunter. I'm surprised since I had plans to vote for Mitt Romney. Well, Dunky, lol, I guess we're on for the 2008 elections!

Yes, that's a great tool! Two other candidate match quizzes can be found at:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/candidate-match-game.htm
http://www.myelectionchoices.com/
If all three quizzes match up, you're in good shape to narrow down your choices!
Another INCREDIBLY helpful candidate researching tool is http://www.ontheissues.org

It told me that my best match was with someone I think is a twit. That is probably because I think competence matters at least as much as issues.

THAT WAS A COOL POLL. I MATCHED UP WITH ROMNEY EVEN THOUGH I LIKE GIULIANI. I WOULD VOTE FOR HIM IF HE WAS THE PARTY CANDIDATE.
