It's pretty funny
"Who are you?"
"Barf!"
"Not in here mister - This is a Mercedes!"
"If you do not give us the code, we will give your daughter back - HER OLD NOSE!!"
"1-2-3-4-5? - That's the sort of thing an idiot puts on his luggage!"

The above are correct. There are hundreds of movies that are funnier then Spaceballs (even though it is amusing). It's not the funniest Mel Brooks film - personally I think that's A History of the World Part II. It's not the funniest space movie - that's Ice Pirates made during the 80s. It's not the funniest spoof movie - that's Airplane.
But it is a funny movie.

Although Spaceballs is a riot, Monty Pythons Quest For The Holy Grail is right up there, too.
Why are we always preparing? Just GO!

Spaceballs ok, not quite my sense of humour.
All time fave is Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Uncontrollable laughter first time I watched 'Young Frankenstein'
I always turn to 'Up periscope' for a light hearted laugh.
Even Woody Allen's 'Sleeper' still creases me up.

Mel Brooks at his comedian terrific!!! i like that action picture. i haven't seen it in so long, yet each time its on television --I could desire to visual demonstrate unit it!! Rememer the begining (a l. a. action picture star Wars)? as quickly as upon a time warp... In a galaxy very, very, very, very, distant there lived a ruthless race of beings ordinary as... Spaceballs. - financial disaster 11 - The evil leaders of Planet Spaceball, having foolishly squandered their advantageous ecosystem, have devised a secret plan to take each and every breath of air faraway from theyr peace-loving neighbor, Planet Druidia. - on the instant is Princess Vespa's wedding ceremony day. Unbeknownst to the princess yet knownst to us, possibility lurks interior the celebs above... - in case you are able to study this, you do no longer desire glasses.

There are many funnier, it all depends on your mood. As for Mel Brooks movies, I will take "Blazing Saddles" or "Young Frankenstein".
Peter Boyle tap dancing, or the toll booth in the desert? Now that is funny stuff.
Eddie Murphy,s "Coming To America", while not really all that funny, had some great lines. "Aww, vhat do you know from funny you bastard!".
