C'mon...who really still says colored?! Anyways Rochelle is nice and expect it to be shortened to Shelly though. Ooooh how about Rochella or Raquel. Just throwing around some modern updates but none the less it a nice name.

I'm Not a fan. Go with something where she doesn't have to spell it out everytime someone is writing her name. When she says "my name is rochelle" you know people are going to spell Rachel. Take it from someone who knows... Both my first name and last name are spelt differently than they sound. Don't get my wrong i LOVE my name... but don't make things harder by making it so she has to slell her name everytime she says it.

I don't really think I am fond of it. For me, it sounds like someone messed up when they were saying Rachel and it stuck. And I always think of chocolate...I think from that Rocher chocolate or something. But I have a friend Rochelle and she likes her name and I think she is an awesome person. So if you love it, go for it. If not, maybe keep looking for something else. Good Luck.

Its OK but probably would not be one of my favorites. This was a name that was rather popular years ago but has sort of dropped out of style lately. She will probably be nick names Shelly when she gets to school so make sure that you like that version too.

its a nice name but you must think of nick names that will go with it i wanted to name my daughter reece but it was pointed out that the nick names would be reece peece peanut buter cup and so on but it is a preety name
