I've read Kiss the Girls by James Patterson and then I started to watch Dexter in television. Somehow I sense the similarities between them which I really loved the ways of posing the serial killers and their intelligence and perfectness of their murders. I ordered. Are there any other books or tv series (Like Death Note) of a mass murderer or serial killer is chasing by a genius? Please give your valuable suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Try continuing reading his books. They're worthy, really. Dan Brown too.

If you haven't read "Night Sins" and "Guilty as Sin" by Tami Hoag I suggest you pick them up. They represent the genre you are interested in. A made for television movie was done with one of them but it didn't do the story justice. Film rarely translates a good story well, in my opinion.

I read 'Velocity' by Dean Koontz and it was a bloody good read.
I recommend it to anyone who likes this kind of thing.

Try the "Prey" series by John Sanford. These all have the word "Prey" in the title.
