Well I don't see how else they managed to put a mirror on the moon that beams back data about lunar distance even now if nobody landed on the moon. I also fail to see either why NASA would either attempt such an elaborate hoax or how it would be successful even to this day. If there really was a conspiracy to fake a moon landing, someone would have spilled the beans and had undeniable evidence. The project is just too big and would require too many people to hide for nearly 50 years.
Besides which, big events like a moon landing attract conspiracy theorists like flies to honey. No huge man-made event can ever go by without a conspiracy being evoked. What are the chances that same people who claim every big event is a conspiracy are somehow right this time?

A great deal of the so called evidence for a faked lunar landing involves the poor picture quality of the early video cameras. Have you ever seen early newsreels from the early 1900s? The technology of the day made the movement of people so portrayed very unrealistic. From this evidence of unrealistic motion are we to believe the photos were faked? Be serious. They walked just like we do today. Cameras just weren't very good yet.
Actually nothing we say will persuade you, will it? I'm guessing you are a middleschool student with all the vast experience of a middle school student. You have experienced no other president than George W. Bush, to whom lies and mistruths are common coin. If my experience was limited to George W. Bush, I might be tempted to mistrust any government pronouncement. But I watched Saturn V rockets blast into space from our dock. We were 100 miles away and it was still thrilling. The moon landing was not a lie. You cannot begin to understand how foolish you are.

What anyone thinks is irrelevant. It's a scientific fact that it happened. There's a mountain of irrefutable evidence in favor of the landings (the retroreflectors, the radio transmissions coming from the Moon, the Moon rocks, etc.), and yet there's no evidence against them. Conspiracy theorists like to believe that they can disprove the landings by relying on bad science and faulty common sense; the conspiracy answer that you've received in response to this question is a perfect example of this ignorance. So the average person is going to notice scientific irregularities that the world's greatest scientific minds will miss? I don't think so. The landings happened.

I do nt think it, I know it, based on extensive study of the records. They did it twice in '69, twice in '71 and twice in '72. They also made various other flights, and generally made a logical progression from the first manned space flight to the last manned lunar landing.
The belief that it was all faked stems from ignorance of the Apollo record, plain and simple. Seriously, go and look into it and you'll ba amazed just how much information there is out there about the early space program.

Of course we did. There is no good reason to doubt it. FOX had a dumb show that said the Moon landing was faked, but other shows have refuted that silly stuff. To find truth, you must look at both sides of any issue. do that, and you will easily see that the FOX show is the fake. Sadly, many people prefer to believe dumb conspiracy theories to the truth. I hope that is not the case with you.

I can't understand why this question pops up here at least once a week. For one thing, the question is absurd -- if the lunar landings had been faked don't you think the USSR (which had the technology to monitor the mission QUITE closely) would have jumped up and said so?? And, when you type this question into Yahoo Answers, doesn't it suggest the other umpty-squat times the question has been asked??
Asked and answered!! Move on.

I don't think it, I know it.
People who believe otherwise are idiots. Either idiots for believing the reasons given by conspiracy theorists (none of which make sense with a tiny bit of thought), or idiots for thinking that the entire documentation of the landings consists of TV footage and photographs.

I do not "think" they did.
I **KNOW** that we have landed astronauts on the moon. Six different times.

Of course.
I am surprised that those who don't believe it, are able to breathe, with the limited intelligence they display.
