u can try find some help from lyrics n movie they would b a geat help! i m not gd with poem but let mi try
they looked at each other
'u got nothing special'
they told themselves
time is the most special thing on earth
u can never know what will it do to u
mayb we need it
so that ppl living with it
has a chance to hope
its fate
they met each other eyes again
they felt better
mayb becoz
since the start they r the same... ...
they love each other
it was not in their plan
it was not what they one from the start
but y it happen?
this is a type of pain but also
a type of happiness 4 them
bcoz this is wad their mind wana
something tt is hard to go against
they got tired of denying things
n ppl find it hard to accept
y?
because they r different!?
they r human too
but well this is life
what are the defination for love
if there is any
will life even exist
'In this, this dirty city,
you're the person who
gathers up and shows me
something beautiful'
'I'll always protect you,
so you never ever lose
that which you have clutched
close to your heart.'
Now they both know
they are meaningless
Unless they stay to be themselves
lets go on
beautiful flower will surely b waiting for us
after all nothing is more fearful than giving up

lol . . . ok, stop stressing, because you seem to overthinking this & panicking.
listen, love is love whether it's gay or straight, so i'm not seeing the problem. this doesn't have be autobiographical. just write about two people in love, who just happen to be lesbian. that doesn't require you, personally, to be lesbian or even female.
you don't have to be sexual or even graphic.
nor do you have to write the poem in 1st person. you don't have to be one of the girls involved. you could write it from the persepective of a friend watching them fall in love, the guy who has the hots for one of them realizing he doesn't have a chance or a netural 2nd person point of view.
you can go anywhere & write this in so many different ways.
as others have suggested try writing a prose story or an outline & go from there, or brainstorm what you think of two girls falling in love - the difficulties and joy of finding someone to love.
worse comes to worst, write a poem of 2 people in love & change one of their genders, but that's a bit of a cop-out.
mostly just try to open yourself - the possibilites are endless.

Write a poem about how they fall in love and the consequences that they have to deal with , because of the way that society looks down on gays/lesbians.

why don't you try writing it mout like a prose first? If you write it like a story, you could then build your poem around that.
Don't try to outdo yourself by looking for rhymes. Your poem must make sense for people to appreciate the rhymes and rhythms.
You can do this. Write it out like a story first because you can express yourself more that way. Just do your poem from that.
From the known to the unknown, remember?

I suppose falling in love is falling in love. What attracts one person to another? There is an element here of "forbidden love" as you mention that they are fighting against falling in love. Why are they fighting it? Family pressure? Peer pressure? As a straight male, I don't know if this is any help, but here it is for what it's worth.

Sounds like you just want a story.
Anyway here goes.
you are beautiful in bed, your hair is auburn red, I love it when you smile and I think your in denial. Our kisses are Devinne yet you become unkind ,when we are seen together and pretend its now or never. you try to break my heart and have done so from the start. Yet I am onto you so brunette and so true. You love me more than ever but its me not you so clever. Kiss Kiss

Try writing about two born-again(ugh!)girls who have this thing for each other and are trying to repress it because the bible says "tis wrongeth for two dames to loveth each other for they shalt surely rot in hell if they doeth so."But ultimately, love triumphs over hypocrisy.(Hurray!)But then again, that's just my idea.
