So, I'm a woman who is paraplegic, in May l will be 27, and I've been this way since Nov 2007. Making me around 7 years in a chair. First of all, I think it's awesome that are not only open to dating a women w/ a disability!! Now, to answer your question, I feel that every injury is different from person to person and we all can have some of our confidence a bit off at times, especially when the injury is new. Your best bet is to just treat her like a normal person, the only difference in us, it that we now use a chair. Remember to be kind, genuine, be yourself from the "get go"! ONE MAJOR THINK I WILL STRESS IS PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ASKING ABOUT PERSONAL THINGS LIKE SEX AND "BATHROOM" QUESTIONS!! Once you get to know them and find that you actually like her and want to try having a relationship, then those sorts of questions and topics are usually OK to ask. I CAN'T EXPLAIN JUST HOW MUCH of a TURN OFF it is, to be prompted with these types of inquiries, UPON THE FIRST INTERACTION between the two of you! More often than not, it's a sure way to kill any type of interest or attraction that might be happening! Yes, some woman are not ashamed to answer, but it's just sort of rude and comes off as very shallow on behalf of the person asking those questions!! When I was still walking, I never had one date that asked about certain things like that, but now that I'm in this chair, it's seriously one of the first questions out of a person's mouth!!

Yes, I would date....and I wouldn't leave him in the case he becomes paraplegic..... I would love him in the same way, or even more...... For me, personality is the only thing that matters......
