Westhill, I am sure that you too can see the motives of the Bush administration overall. Anyone violating the law will not come out and say it as no one is stupid enough to confess and go to jail!

It seems to me the Bush administration should give some credit to Syria for its cooperation in the war on terror. But maybe I don't understand the goals of the Bush administration or the war on terror.

Will america continue to deport innocent people just because of their name or color, and will they take responsibility for it, instead of just sounding contrite?

Will america continue torturing their prisonners in guantanamo bay and will they ever take responsibility for it?

why is one ok, and the other not?

And by the way, you think the officials who sent him there are dumb, and didnt know what was waiting for him there when they sent him?

come on, dude, the start of this is the appalling victimisation and treatment of all arabs as suspicious and guilty before proven innocent.

The poor guy didnt do anything and he gets arrested.
