"We must invest in people if we are to grow and prosper as a province. The current approach is not working. We have hundreds of millions of dollars in surpluses, yet people are suffering. Outmigration is occurring at an alarming rate; our social and health care programs are in crisis; people are struggling to heat their homes because of the increased cost of living. The issues of ordinary people must be addressed."
