Absolutely not. It is inhumane and cruel, and denies the baby its basic right to live.

And contrary to what many have written here, there were not thousands of "back alley abortions" before it was legalized. That is a myth and there are no statistics to back it up. Notice that no one gave you any data to support this claim.

Sure, women snuck around before it was illegal, and the abortionists weren't always reputable, but honestly, MILLIONS of babies die every year from abortion. How can that ever be compared to the few women that used to die from botched abortions?

If we are going by number of deaths, then legalized abortion has caused MORE deaths and pain not less.

NO. Abortion is an unjustified act of a agression on an innocent baby in the womb.

I am pro-life without apologies, without exceptions and without excuses.

Wake up, America! Abortion has become another holocaust.

I personally do not believe in abortion. There are so many other options out there, like adoption. Many couples try and try for a child without success, and adoption is such a blessing to them. If I were pregnant with an unwanted child, I couldn't have an abortion. A lot of people use it as birth control, which I think it just taking the coward's way out. Condoms, birth control pills, etc. are a lot cheaper- and if you don't want children, then you should use them. I know there are things that can happen- being raped, accidently getting pregnant- but, I believe every child should have the chance to live. Anything with a heartbeat is living to me- and babies have heartbeats as early as 5 weeks. So no, I don't think it should be legal.

I completely agree with Lindsey (Teenage Mommy) and all the other people who say abortion is wrong. I would only get an abortion if my life was at risk. I would never abort my baby because he was a mistake, or was a rape case, or was handicap. He's still living & is still my baby. I would love that child no matter what. Abortion is wrong & should be illegal unless you have a medical emergency (Like pregnancy in your tubes. I forgot what it's called).

Hey Lindsey! How are you? How's Jayden & daddy? Hope you 3 are doing good. Much love C=

Yes.
The soul enters the body at the moment of birth. Before that it is merely tissue like any other cells. Abortion is birth control.
The Bible does not discuss exactly when the sperm and egg becomes a person.
People who are against abortion never talk about the future of unwanted children. What happens to them - are they abused, do they end up in prison because no one wants them?
If abortion is murder, then so is using a condom - sperm are alive too, all 100 million of them.

Of course not.

How can so many Americans believe the killing of tiny pre-born babies is good??

Remember, the baby is a separate person apart from the mother. It's NOT her body and it's NOT her choice. The baby has its own set of rights and mom cannot deny those rights.

First let me say, for me and only me, I do not believe in abortion. But history has proven that with out a legal option, women will have abortions, illegal, unqualified, unsterile abortions and die. Back room abortionist kill and mutilate and leave women to bleed to death. I have always felt life is precious, but I will not hide my head in the sand and say all abortions are bad. It is not for us to decide the conscience of others, just for our selves. I feel there is a need for legal abortions and it should be there for women. So we don't go back to the butchering of the past.

No. I don't believe in abortion. When I was pregnant with my son all the doctors/nurses always told me, "There's always other options." Meaning either adoption or abortion. I strongly disagree with abortion. The only time I would have an abortion was if it was putting my life in danger. I wouldn't get an abortion if I got raped. It's not the babies fault you we're raped nor is it yours but, still. Put the baby up for adoption. I would never carry a child for 9 months & then give him/her away. The only time I'd do that is if I was living on the streets but, I'd try other things before I jumped to that choice. I'd rather send him to my mothers house & get my s**t together so I could still have my son whom I love to death. Abortion is wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
