I sure don't think so, and I am not alone.

Well on the TV show he seemed to. He was the perfect Dad. They had no problems that were real.
That show would be canceled in a minute today.
At the time, I found it enjoyable. We were also frightened by Frankenstein , the wolf man and the invisible man. We lived in a time of innocents.
Father truly did seem to know best then.

in some things.
my father was street smart, but not book smart.
my mother was book smart and into proper etiquette.
they were very weird together, but i guess it balanced out.
